Josefina López

Josefina López Galdeano, BA, MA, Town and Regional Planner.

Josefina have twenty years of experience in the design, implementation and evaluation of urban and regional planning and development policies, programs, and projects. Her areas of expertise include strategic urban planning and development, spatial planning and regional development, urban and territorial dimension of the cohesion policy analysis, European Union public administration management and European Union Structural Funds.

She has worked for a wide variety of multilateral and bilateral programmes, as well as for public and private sector clients, among others, as an International Urban-type expert in the management of the ERDF

As a founding member of U-Space srl. “Lab for Urban and Territorial Sustainable Development” and Director of U-Space Spain (www.u-space.it/ro/es) where she has coordinated the drafting and approval of Sustainable and Integrated Urban Development Strategies (EDUSI), singular projects for a low-carbon economy (sustainable mobility axis) and European territorial cooperation projects in more than 20 Andalusian cities, as well as the technical assistance of the Andalusian Forum for Local Governments and Participatory Processes. She has also coordinated the technical office of the Spanish Network of Smart Cities (www.reddeciudadesinteligentes.es/).

She is a Chartered Geographer (n. 2204), and member of ISOCARP, International Society of City and Regional Planners (www.isocarp.org).
